Established in 2005, Mridul Chemicals has evolved from a startup to one of the leading and trusted manufacturing and distribution company of Synthetic Resin Extenders in India.

Started with an idea to develop and supply quality resins extenders to plywood, panel and wood-based product industries in and around West Bengal, Mridul Chemicals supply rapidly expanded into rest of India as well as other countries. Over the years, Mridul Chemicals has managed consistent growth, from an initial manufacturing capacity of 150 tonnes a month, Mridul Chemicals has grown to the present status of producing about 600 tonnes per month of various resin extenders, with a net manufacturing capacity of more than 7200 tonnes per annum.

All this cannot be accomplished without the extensive knowledge, experience and capability of our employee and the proficient asset management by our management team.

Milestone

2005 Company formed by Mr. Ram Kumar Bihani in Kolkata, India

2009 Company commenced its business to supply Extenders for Amino Resin.

2010 Diversified its range of Resin Extenders, Started to supply Extenders for both Amino and Phenolic Resins including direct hot pressing and pre pressing.
Awarded with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Standard.

2011 Started regional expansion, and set up its head office at Burabazaar, Kolkata.
Four types of resin extenders viz. XTRABOND MR-999, PF-502, UF-301 and PRE PRESS-702 quality has been tested and approved by Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute (Govt. of India).

2012​ XTRABOND SUPER Extender quality has been tested as per IS 848:2006 by IPIRTI and found to conform the quality requirement.

2013 XTRABOND 5000 Extender quality has been tested as per IS 848:2006 by IPIRTI and found to conform the quality requirement.

2014 Awarded with ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Standard.
Adopted latest ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Standard.

2015 Diversified product offerings and started to offer Resin Harderners, Putty Powder for Plywood, etc in addition to Resin Extenders.
Completed 10years of Incorporation.
